Most of us know how good it feels AFTER you’ve had a workout and a colonic hydrotherapy treatment is like taking your gut to the gym.
Let me explain.
There are many reasons for having a colonic hydrotherapy treatment, especially if your seeking relief from the symptoms of IBS and other gastro-intestinal issues like bloating, constipation, or diarrhoea.
That said, a number of my clients have colon hydrotherapy simply to maintain and improve their overall and digestive health.
The reasons people come to establishments like my little house of detox are varied and very individual.
Just like going to the gym needs more than one visit to get the full effect, it’s also important to note that one colonic hydrotherapy session is unlikely to remove all that has built up in your gut over time.
The good news, though, is that it can start the process of further purification.
How can a colonic hydrotherapy treatment help me?
If you’re new to colonic hydrotherapy, its important to ask how such a treatment might help you.
Simply put, colon hydrotherapy operates with your body to restore a more healthy environment to your digestive system and overall health.
How does this actually happen?
Well, when temperature-controlled water is gently introduced into the colon it produces two effects:
- Firstly, it removes old, impacted waste from the colon ie, mucous, candida, bacteria, old poop etc,
- Secondly, it stimulates the bowels’ natural nerve and peristaltic muscle, encouraging and restoring positive bowel function.
You can think of colonic hydrotherapy as like taking your colon to the gym and giving it a really good workout.
The colon hydrotherapy facilitates the removal of old fecal matter which then enables the bowel muscle to strengthen and tone plus work efficiently allowing the body to absorb nutrients as well as the production of vitamins B and K that the bowel needs in order to function at its best.
This makes for a very positive pooping experience!
Clearing the “old baggage” is vital for overall health, wellbeing, energy, happiness, homeostasis and last but not least – your gut determines your mood!
